“You’re hidden under a table and see in the reflection of the window the stature nearby. Your heart beats in you throat and your breathing seems deafening. Slowly you hear footsteps of the stature coming towards you…”
Awarded as a TERPECA-award finalist as one of the best immersive games worldwide, I Can Hear You is an intense and intimate real-life horror game that takes place in the old abandoned hospital of ‘Maas en Kempen’.
Your research team receives a case from private detective organization ‘Red Eye’. There are rumors suggesting former surgeon Sergey F. Staalmaat has moved into the vacant hospital to work on all kinds of lurid practices. You need to break into the hospital unseen, stay out of the hands of the surgeon and find out what he’s up to!
A real-life horror game with an immersive story that takes you deep into the eerie emptiness of the massive Marriott:Renaissance Hotel of Amsterdam. The Nightmare of Eveline Shadow features a tenseful buildup that crawls under you skin, places you in front of memorable dilemma’s and once it gets a hold of you won’t let go.
Horror writer Eveline Shadow was working on her newest novel ‘The Nightmare’ in her hotel room, before she mysteriously disappeared. Ever since, things are off; her presence can still be felt in the hotel.
When reality starts to blur and her writings dwell in the eerie hallways, do you dare to advance through the story to bring it to an end?
Safety is at the root of our games. Entertainment means to have fun in a safe manner. When you play one of our games you become part of a fictional world. ‘Fictional’ being the key term here; it’s not real and you can always quit at any point and return to the ‘real world’. Our team is ready to take care of you :).
When you don’t feel safe, you don’t dare to proceed. But if you feel safe, you dare to expand your boundaries. That’s why people – knowing they are attached to a bungee cord – dare to jump off dazzling heights. And that’s why our safety guidelines are important, so that you are ready to face the fears we’ve created for you.
Horror is entertainment to experience the emotion fear. If you’re playing a horror game and you experience fear, you’re doing good! That’s what you paid for, that’s what you want to feel, the rest of the game facilitates that.
We use fear in all it’s facets to get to multiple and layered tones of the emotion. A good horror movie has a tense buildup, varied middle and impactful surprises that stay with you. Think of emotions and feelings such as anticipation, tension, alarmed, shock, nervosity, eerie, dread, disgust, alert, hysteria, terror, panic, scared, mortification, anxiety, distress.
With our games it’s not just about jumpscares or being completely terrified. A part of the game can also be about letting a mystery crawl under your skin, growing and sending shivers down your spine. That way, the anticipation for – and impact of – that one shock moment will be even bigger.
We use game design philosophy from videogames. Although instead of you playing an avatar in a digital world, you, yourself, stand in a physical location decorated in theme where you can touch, feel, hear, smell and see from all angles.
Our experiences are game mechanic-driven and therefore create organic non-linear gameplay. This means that you can make a choice, go and stand where you please, but there are consequences bound to your actions.
We design which type of (inter)action from the players the game responds to, but we can’t predict when what is going to happen. That means every game session will be unique to you.
We design and produce the highest quality immersive experiences. These are more exciting, bigger and longer than what you might expect. The most important thing is that we stray away from superficiality and dig for depth. We do this by designing challenges, obstacles and situations that build upon previously acquired in-game knowledge from you.
When every challenge you’ll face can be completed without prior lessons learnt, it only has superficial value. But if a situation challenges you and you can only solve or tackle it by applying skills learned and experience gained through the game, you’ll enter a flow that feels rewarding. Depth manifests itself, while you’ll grow and expand your boundaries.
We don’t provide a hint-system in our games. You need to succeed yourself, but the progression and successes you’ll gain will be real and truly yours alone. This is how we create meaningful satisfaction.
Careful research is at the heart of well-substantiated background stories, a believable world and intriguing characters. Only then can we immerse you in a fictional world that makes you forget reality.
All our real-life horror games exist in the same fictional universe; the world of the ‘Red Eye’. Every game features its own unique story. Alongside, there is also an overarching narrative that we build step by step towards a climax.
Original & uniquely designed games that provide their own taste. You haven’t experienced these before.
Doing something new and interactive, something scary and you don’t know the outcome of, will make a lasting impact on you. It’s always an experience that gives you joy and happiness. But the better we can remember those experiences, the longer lasting the happiness will be.
Together we make unforgettable and sensational memories for you, which can be cherished and talked about long after.
Yesterday late, some mere hours after our announcement of our new website, we received the unfortunate news on the Belgium press conference that we need to close our business until 28th of January 2022. The reason being the increasing covid infection rate of the omikron variant. We know that many of you have been waiting for a long time to finally come and play I Can Hear You, and some of you even gifted it as a Chrismas present. This is a huge letdown. We share the disappointment with you. After the momentum of our new website and the bookings that followed, this lockdown was the last thing we wanted to hear. Especially after a tough and challenging year with plenty of setbacks. Some moments this year Entered could barely keep afloat, and some punches we haven’t fully recovered from yet. We do hope for your understanding. At the same time our vision for Entered has become crystal clear after many conversations this year. We know where we want to be and why we’re doing this, and won’t let go of that. The fire burns and we’re ready to light things up in the new year. Everybody that has an existing
