I Can Hear You

I can hear you is a real-life horror game that scares the hell out of you

“You’re hidden under a table and see in the reflection of the window the stature nearby. Your heart beats in you throat and your breathing seems deafening. Slowly you hear footsteps of the stature coming towards you…”

Started in juli 2018 and awarded as a TERPECA-award finalist as one of the best immersive games worldwide, I Can Hear You is an intense and intimate real-life horror game that takes place in the old abandoned hospital of ‘Maas en Kempen’.

Your research team receives a case from private detective organization ‘Red Eye’. There are rumors suggesting former surgeon Sergey F. Staalmaat has moved into the vacant hospital to work on all kinds of lurid practices. You need to break into the hospital unseen, stay out of the hands of the surgeon and find out what he’s up to!

Remember: Doubt halts progress. Progression is achieved by daring to make decisions, but all decisions have consequences… Are you up for the task?

Created in collaboration with Gloeidraad.

What did others have to say about it?

"A better set for a horror game is hardly imaginable. "

"The scariest experience of Belgium. "

"This is a must-do experience. "

Frequently Asked Questions

For groups bigger than 14 please contact us directly at info@entered.be or through the contact form.

How long does the experience take?

The game takes approximately 2 hours, but count an extra half hour for preperation and after talks.

What is the age limit?

I Can Hear you is from age 18 years and older. 16+ aged are also allowed provided that an 18+ person is playing the game with them.

What languages is the game available in?

The game is available in Dutch and English. By default the game will be played in Dutch, so if you want to play the game in English please let us know with your booking.

Do I have to bring anything?

Things you should bring are team spirit and courage! After booking you’ll also receive an email that includes safety measures that you and every team member that’s going to play needs to read and sign before the game.

Other things to keep in mind is that you can get dirty while playing this real-life game. Wearing old clothes is recommneded. For this game it’s also important that you wear shoes that are easy to walk in. Sandals and heels are strongly discouraged.

Can I play the game more than once?

The choice is yours, but we don’t recommend it if you’ve managed to complete the game, because most of the tension and challenges will not be there anymore as you already know how they play out.

What we do occasionally see players do is that they come for a second round but bring a new group of people with them that don’t know the game and relive it through them. We do ask these players to remain distant from any challenges they already know, so other players can figure those out. Let us know if you come for a second time, than we’ll prepare a slightly different version.

Who are not able to play the game?

  • People with heart problems
  • People who are pregnant
  • People with epilepsy
  • People in wheelchairs
  • Blind people or severely hearing impaired people
  • People that have severe injuries (always inform us about an injury)
  • People aged 15 or younger
  • People between 16 and 18 without supervision of someone 18+

Which group size do you recommend?

The game is playable for three to seven people. Both amounts are at the outer side of the spectrum. With three people it’s more scary and a lot to cover, which makes it more difficult. With seven people you’re prone to losing the overview and you’re noticed more easily, which means being stealthy and communicating precisely is of more importance. With a group of five people you have a higher probability that you’ll strike the right balance between the two sizes, but there are no guarantees.

It always depends on which people and with which mindset you are playing the game with, if you’re going to make it until the end.

What if I want to play with 8 people or more?

A group of eight people or more can’t play as one group. A group of 8-14 people need to be divided into two groups of four to seven persons. This means that two slots need to be booked.

In case both groups want to arrive at the same time, this means you’ll be onsite for four hours, of which half of those spend in our waiting room. The waiting room is spacious and there are  partygames, boardgames and drinks available, and of course ideal for catching up. Catering is available on request.

What languages is the game available in?

The experience is available in Dutch and English. Please select the correct language with your booking: NL for Dutch and EN for English.

Why is I Can Hear You priced starting from €50,- per ticket?

I Can Hear You is a two hour experience. The playing area of the game is on average ten times bigger than for example an escape room and we work with actors that are carefully cast and extensively trained. On top of that there’s also a host present. Costs quickly go up.

The design- and production team of I Can Hear You have followed an intensive design route of long months to get the concept to work; with the goal to innovate. We keep developing based on feedback and responses.
